I used my Prowler 5-6 times and was never able to adjust the seat so it didn't feel like I was sitting too far forward and my center of balance was off. I felt like I would fall forward and flip. Also, my legs dropped in the water and I was not able to get backward motion sufficiently. I sold it for half the money I paid for it.
I was always torn between getting out on the lake and leaving my mutt in the truck/at home until I saw this product. There is plenty of room for the dog in the prow while offering high floatation and easy of paddling. Just a little duct tape in the front to keep water out and the dog stays dry. The extra elevation really helps with casting as well as being able to make great progress across the lake. Very well made but heavier than hell. You would not want to try to trek this into a remote lake but considering the other advantages, I can live with that issue. You know what they say..... happy dog happy life. Now I can share the day on the water as well as on the shore. Now all I have to figure is how to keep the mutt from jumping into the lake when he sees a rising trout.
this float tube is the best ive ever had ive just taken delivery and i was straight on the water. your sat high and balance is good you can lean forword and its still level.you are sat on the water not in it.you glide on the water with ease. plenty of space in the pockets and at the back you could take a child with you if you wished to.its so roomie. high comfert.just the best ever.great stuff.11 out of ten.
This tube is of fine construction but definitely not for tall people. I am shy of 6'3" and I feel like I am pushed forward in my seat. It needs to be adjustable seat or set back more for anyone over 6 feet tall
