Simms Men's Bulkley Fishing Jacket

I chose the Simms Bulkley jacket for my upcoming trip to Iceland, fishing for Salmon and sea-run Brown Trout. But it has also turned out to be a fantastic companion for a cold Melbourne winter here in Australia. The GoreTex shell is tough and provides excellent protection from driving wind and rain. The Primaloft insulation provides fantastic warmth. The jacket is incredibly light and will take up a small amount of space in my luggage when I head of to Iceland in a few weeks. I couldn't find this jacket in a reseller anywhere in Aus. But Platte River Fly Shop had the right one in stock and shipped it the next day after I ordered it online. It arrived in perfect condition at my house in Australia within about 8 days. Great service. Thanks heaps.

This jacket fits great! Tested last night in Minnesota sleat /snow shower walking the dogs. Very warm and dry. I hope Simms will continue to offer items in the cool River Camo patern as well!

This jacket follows the Bulkley tradition. Warm, waterproof and very light for a permalof item. This jacket will actually replace my wading jacket. Hand warmer pockets and gear pockets are located in the right place. Perfect for layering and fits well. I fly fish throughout the rocky Mountains in Colorado and works great in Spring, Fall and winter months. You won't be disappointed!

Was searching for a great camo jacket that provided warmth for cold mornings and the quality of a Simms product and discovered this jacket. I would highly recommend it. The fit (XL) was exactly on track; provided good room where I needed it and a perfect fitting hood. Just what I was searching for.
