Recently purchased the Simms G3 Guide Vest on-line from the Platte River Fly shop. The vest fits true to size, has plenty of pockets and looks and feels good and is very versatile. Looking forward to my next trout trip. My shopping experiences with Platte river have always been excellent. The website is easy to navigate and order from. The prices are great and the shipping is superior. My vest shipped the same day ordered and delivered two days later. Will continue to look first for Simms and other fishing equipment at Platte River.

The fit and quality is perfect. I purchased the large and it's perfect. It can easily be used over a light jacket but if you plan on using it for winter steelhead get the next size up. I purchased the large and it's perfect for 3 season's.
I love this vest. Plenty of pockets which I can't seem to get enough of. It's a true high water vest for wading. Appreciate the vertical pockets for my fly boxes. There are 4 D-rings on the front for my nippers, knot tool and floatant. Very well thought out as I would expect from Simms.
After a frustrating attempt to order this vest elsewhere I called PRFS. Jeri was super nice and incredibly helpful. The vest arrived less than 72 hours after ordering. I'm 5'11" and 180lbs - the medium fits great even with a couple of base layers and a fleece underneath. The pockets are designed well and easy to access. The padded collar is a huge bonus if your like me and take everything when you leave the truck to go fishing. I've spent 8+ hours in the water with a ton of gear and been comfortable the whole time. Thanks again to Jeri and PRFS for outstanding customer service. I wish there was a rating higher than 5 - you guys deserve it.
