These work well with the Simms flyweight wet wading shoes
My first time out I drove to and from the river in these, and waded 4 hours. They're comfortable, but my feet and lower legs didn't chill. I wore their guide socks the next time for as long, and in the same tail water, and my lower legs and feet felt like refrigerated burger meat 90 minutes after getting home. I prefer the neoprene socks. They're easy to remove if you let them turn inside out. They take a day to dry here in the low humidity of UT. Just in time to head back out..
