New for 2016 the Galvan Grip Series Fly Fishing Reel with a revolutionary new hub and fully integrated sealed drag system. The Galvan Grip Reel offers a similar drag as that of it's predecessor the Galvan Torque Fly Reel but has added a fully sealed hub that completely seals the drag unit. The Grip has awesome looks, design and performance, the Grip is to satisfy the most demanding of fly fisherman. The Fly Reel comes with free shipping and no sales tax from the Platte River Fly Shop.

The new counter balanced Grip series fly fishing reel is extremely good looking and is trimmed out with a clear (silver) color scheme with bright blue hub accents. Fully machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, these large-arbor reels utilize a fully-sealed MicroTune carbon fiber drag system for total protection from the elements. The Type II ported light weight anodized saltwater-safe frame and spool also feature easy switching to right or left retrieve, XL handle, easy spool release.
