Looked at a lot of 8', to 8' 6" Fast action fly rods. This was the best for what i wanted and met all my needs in a 4 Wt. shorter rod for use with my 9' Catchercraft Raft. For the money more then fit the bill. Replacing my broken Powell 9' 4 Wt. TiBoron. Won't feel so bad if this one where to suffer the same fate, that said Iam more then pleased with my new Echo Boost rod.
Smooth, easy casting fast action. I own rods from all the top end brands and this rod puts most of them to shame. One of my favorite rods I own!
