This third generation has updated Guru’s spool geometry for enhanced retrieval rates, opened the porting to reduce weight and improve line drying, integrated the counterbalance and introduced a curved cross section arbor for structural stability.
Guru continues to set the standard on CNC machined quality and reliability at a great price and to prove that the quest for “enlightenment” can be anything but boring.

Larson Guru S reel
I needed a 5 wt reel for my TFO BVK and chase a Guru S after looking at a few other brands. It is even nicer than I expected and performs exceptionally well with my rod. Wyomingflyfishing was really helpful with my order and included free backing and a fly line with my new reel.
